Eguma Fume at Dolphins’ Performance

Dolphins coach Stanley Eguma was not happy that his team fell 2-0 at Akwa United over the weekend.

He described Sunday’s game as good, but added that he will not blame his players for the penalty they conceded in the first half.

“The loss of concentration cost is the game but I have to exonerate them for the penalty,” he said.

“They fought hard but couldn’t control that penalty they conceded. I think it wasn’t a bad game. We have lost but we must go back and work harder for subsequent games.”

Zachary Baraje of Akwa United said he will only agree that things are even when they go away from home to get a point or three.

“This victory will certainly help in building the confidence my boys are losing, but by the time we pick a point away, I think I will have a better team,” Baraje said.

Dolphins welcomes Lobi Stars in Port Harcourt on Wednesday (tomorrow).
