After about six hours at the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC), an Abuja based group purchased both Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki to enable him contest the June 22 primary ahead of the September 19,2020 governorship election in Edo State.

The group, Obaseki Mandate Forum, FCT, whose members have been around the party headquartets as early as 10.00am eventually bought the form which was displayed to the media at about 4.10pm.
