ECDA President Urges Commitment at Eggon Community Secondary School

The President of the Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA), Mr David Abuluya, has urged teachers and staff of Eggon Community Secondary School, Nasarawa Eggon, to demonstrate greater commitment to their duties.

Abuluya, who is also the proprietor of Nacabs Polytechnic, made the call during an unscheduled visit to the school on Friday in Nasarawa Eggon, Nasarawa State.

He emphasised that education remains vital to both human and societal development and assured stakeholders of his continued support for the growth of the institution.

“I will continue to ensure that sound and quality education is provided in this school.

“I am here to see things for myself — how the students, teachers and other staff are doing.

“I have done my best to renovate this school to create an enabling environment for teaching and learning.

“I will leave no stone unturned to ensure the development of this school.

“It is in view of this that I want to call on the teachers to be more committed to their duties for an improved standard of education,” he said.

Abuluya also encouraged students to take their studies seriously to excel academically.

He expressed appreciation to Eggon stakeholders and friends of the Eggon nation for their positive contributions to the development of the school.

The ECDA president further called on sons and daughters of the Eggon nation to remain united, embrace peace and promote mutual tolerance for sustainable development.
