Drama as Amaechi Refuses Accreditation
Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, on Saturday morning refused to be accredited for the elections in his Ubima ward, Ikwerre local government area alleging that the result sheets were missing among items the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) came with for the exercise.
In another development, a former governor of the state, Dr. Peter Odili, has lamented the failure of card reader machines in Ward 14, Unit 25, Ogba Egbert Ndoni local government area.
Also, the former Chief of Staff, Government House and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Obio Akpor federal constituency, Rivers state said result sheets were missing in all the 17 wards in the local government area.
