Dortmund tie: Illness keeps Mbappe away from PSG training

Paris Saint Germain are hoping that they will have star forward Kylian Mbappe when they take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Mbappe sat out of the club’s training on Monday due to illness according to reports from French outlet GFFN.

The news comes at a time when the French League officials had given PSG an extra time to prepare for their clash by scrapping their weekend tie against Strasbourg due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The moneybags were set to be back into action on Saturday at home three days after beating Lyon 5-1 in a Cup game in a game that saw Mbappe score a hat trick.

The Frenchman is a key member of the team after bagging a goal in their first leg against Dortmund in Germany and will hope that he is available to continue with the same streak; his team trailing by a solitary goal after going down 2-1 in Germany.
Apart from Mbappe, PSG should welcome back captain Thiago Silva who has fully recovered from a hamstring injury he sustained last month.
The second leg of the Champions League tie will be played at an empty Parc Des Princes due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.
