Don’t sell your votes, Senator Orji tells Abia youths

Senator Theodore Orji has advised youths of Abia Central senatorial district not to sell their votes to the opposition, come 2019 general elections, but to support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

This call came weekend even as the youths met in Umuahia to assure the Senator, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Engr. Chinedum Orji of Umuahia Central state constituency of their support.

Sen. Orji, who was represented by Sir Frank Ibe urged the youths to also support and vote for every other PDP candidate, including Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the party.

“In 2019, use your PVC to vote in the umbrella, while using the broom to sweep away APC from power”, the senator said, urging them to respect the Abia Charter of Equity and not to be deceived with money by buying their PVC or their votes.

Also speaking, Gov. Okezie ikpeazu disclosed that the battle for the stat Government House will be fought in Abia Central, hence, “we need to deliver Abia Central to the PDP, come 2019”.

Represented by the state Commissioner for Public Utilities, Rt. Hon. Chidiebere Nwoke, assuring that Sen. T. A. Orji will “hold sway as he will gather the votes and give it to PDP”, while urging the youths to galvanize themselves and deliver the state, come 2019.

Earlier in his speech, the coordinator, Abia Central Youth Forum, Emmanuel Dikeogu Nwoke said that having reviewed the antecedents of Sen. Orji, Gov. Ikpeazu, Hon. Chinedum Orji and Sam Onuigbo, the youths were satisfied that they have done well and therefore are given their support for their second term.
