Don’t get involved in partisan politics – Air Chief warns soldiers
As the 2019 general elections beckons, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar has warned personnel of the Nigerian Air force not to get involved in partisan politics, urging those who want to join politics to drop their uniforms.
The Air Chief equally appreciated the efforts of the soldiers of the Nigerian Air force in the counter insurgency operations in the northeast, as well as curtailing killings in other parts of the country such as in Zamfara, Benue ,Taraba among others , where activities of armed herdsmen and bandits have been brought to control.
Air Marshal Abubakar stated this yesterday in Maiduguri while addressing soldiers of the Nigerian Air force on special operation at headquarters, Air Taskforce Division, Maiduguri, in Borno state, ahead of Sallah lunch with them.
