Deyi Adeyanju: Obidients are the reason Peter Obi will never be President

Deyi Adeyanju, human rights activist and lawyer has heaped blames on Obidients as the reason their principal, Peter Obi, will never become Nigeria president.

The former PDP Director of New Media made the outburst on his X platform on Saturday in a series of post to play down the relevance of Obi in Anambra’s governorship election.

According to Deji, Obidients — a term coined for Obi’s supporters — have insulted and threatened those who can help their candidate win election and now, they stand no chance, not even against Atiku.

“Obidients are the reason Obi will never be president. They have insulted, threatened everyone that could have supported or helped them.

“They have created political enemies across all zones by insulting everyone and their actions are sanctioned by him.

“It is his close aides that insult people, from politicians to critics, journalists, artists, etc. They insult everyone. The same insulting strategy that failed them in 2023,” the post read.

Speaking further, he insisted that even if they change their strategy, Obi will not still win an election because they have sabotaged his chances by being aggressively minded.

“Even if Obidients change strategy and become born again; stop political extremism and insulting people online, their candidate cannot be president of Nigeria.

“It’s too late already. Even Atiku has a better chance at the presidency than Obi. That’s how bad his chances are,” he added.

The activist not only accused the 2023 LP presidential candidate of running bigotry politics, he also tagged him “Tinubu’s mole”, that Obi’s level of influence cannot win his party the governorship seat.

“Put body for Anambra. Go ahead and even do your politics of moving from church to church, the religious bigotry way, Soludo will still defeat your candidate by landslide.

“I heard he said all candidates must unite in Anambra both LP & ADC and present one person but he still in LP, ADC & has one leg in PDP, Tinubu mole,” Deji said.

Deji challenged Obidients as well as Peter Obi himself, to get involved in the Anambra state election and ensure his candidate wins against Governor Soludo If he has any hope of defeating Tinubu in 2027.

“They are now saying the only reason Soludo will defeat Obi’s candidate in Anambra is by vote buying.

“If you can’t stop Soludo and vote buying in Anambra, is it in the general election against Tinubu that you will do it? Stop vote buying in Anambra and defeat Soludo first,” he added.
