Delta to construct culvert box in Agbor to check erosion
A box culvert is to be constructed on the Old Lagos/Asaba Road in
Agbor-Ika South Local government Area of Delta State to check flooding in the area.
Commissioner for works, chief James Augoye, disclosed this on
Thursday during an inspection tour of the on-going dualization of
Owa-Ekei/Owa-Alero road.
Chief Augoye explained that the box culvert would link the Owa-Ekei
drains to the drainage network on the other side of the Old Lagos
Asaba Road to reduce the pressure of water flowing from the Owa-Ekei
road on the existing drains.
