Delta community flays govt’s nonchalant disposition to dev’t

The people of Ugbolu community, Oshilimili North Local Government Area of Delta State have flayed the sixteen years government’s alleged nonchalant disposition to the provision of social amenities to the area.
Noting that people-oriented projects would boost the living standard of the people, the leader, Chief Chibuzor Nwanyelugo Obiokolo who spoke to journalists yesterday in the community lamented that in the past sixteen years,
Ugbolu people have suffered untold hardship, and have not benefited in any way from the past and the present government despite their political contributions to the development of the state.
He said: “As at today, there is no motorable road or street in Ugbolu, no water borehole functioning as government project in the community, we have nothing at all to talk about, we are neglected” regretting that Ugbolu is only being used during elections, and dumped.
