All Progressive Congress says it would challenge the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor elect, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, at the tribunal.
One of its chieftains, Chief O.T. Ambanum, has hinted that its Governorship candidate, Olorogun Otega Emerhor, was set to seek redress at the tribunal, because the election was characterised by fraud.
Speaking with newsmen at his Emu-Unor residence, in Ndokwa West Council, Ambanum, who was Emerhor’s running-mate, lamented the brazen acts of electoral malpractice of officers and voters snatching ballot boxes, as well as massive thumb printing of ballot papers with full co-operation of security agents by persons believed to be PDP agents and proxies.
While regretting the absurdity in the governorship election, which he described as far from free, fair, and credible, Ambanum expressed optimism that the anomalies would be redressed by the tribunal as “we (APC) have ample evidence to prove our case beyond all reasonable doubt.
