Debra Can announces new EP project ‘Story Time’
Nigerian contemporary artist, Deborah Oyekan better known as Debra Can is one superstar who have carved a niche for herself in the music industry with her distinctive style of delivery.
The multi-talented artist has hinted on the completion of her new EP titled ‘ Story Time’ billed for release August 30, 2024 and would be available on all music streaming platform.
According to Debra Can, the six track EP consist of a feature with Nigerian rap artist, Magnito and explores the theme of love, success and daily life experience.
Speaking on the EP, Debra Can disclosed that the project have the infusion of Afro Beat/ Afro pop sound, a genre that resonates her brand.
‘ This project is one that is dare to my heart and I am certain that my fans will enjoy every track as much as I did recording them. I can say it that my team and I did some awesome jobs putting the tracks together’ she said.

It is pertinent to note that the Mass Communication graduate from the prestigious Olabisi Onabanjo University started doing music while in the university; getting featured in songs by other artists and was also a member of a music band. Debra Can however started doing music professionally since 2021 and ever since she has been able to explore different sound.
