D’banj is Entertainment Icon of the year

Music star D’banj is currently on tour in the UK and was honoured with the Entertainment Icon of the year award at the Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Art (BEFFTA) awards.

The excited ‘Emergency‘ crooner took to Instagram on November 11, 2016, to break the news.

“Yesterday, I received the #BEFFTA Entertainment Icon Award at the British House of Parliament in Westminster, London From Lord John Bird,” he wrote. Adding, “I am Humbled for this unique opportunity to be a beacon of Visible Hope. Ooooossshhhee!“

The ‘Emergency‘ star who last performed in the UK four years ago landed at Heathrow Airport early this week surrounded by his hot ‘kokolets’ stunning other travellers.

D’banj, who recently bought an expensive watch for his stylist, will be performing with special guests live in Manchester on November 11, 2016, Birmingham November 12 and London November 13.
