Dankwambo appoints former Osun guber aspirant, Adewopo as campaign Spokesman

The Gombe State governor and presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has appointed Dr Ayoade Adewopo as the official spokesman/Director of Communications for the Dankwambo Campaign Organisation.

Dr Adewopo, a cerebral professional and governance analyst brings more than 20 years of vast experience in public and private sectors to the role as the spokesperson of the presidential campaign.

According to a release signed by Prof. Tehamba Shija, Director General of the Dankwambo Campaign Organisation, the announcement of Dr. Adewopo who has served as a special advisor and counsel to government entities in Nigeria and abroad and multi-national corporations, was done after a closed door meeting between both parties early Wednesday.

Adewopo served as a campaign leader for the Obama 2008 and 2012 Presidential campaigns.

Ayoade Adewopo read business administration in Nigeria and proceeded to study law in the United States. He also qualified as solicitor in England and Wales. Dr. Adewopo holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University, Indiana, US,

a Postgraduate Diploma in International Tax Law from Robert Kennedy College (University of Wales), Zurich-Switzerland and a Higher National Diploma in Business Management from The Polytechnic Ibadan, Nigeria.

Adewopo was a governorship aspirant on the platform of the PDP in the forthcoming election in Osun State, the ticket was won by Sen. Demola Adeleke.
