Dangote Unveils Vision 2030, Pushes Local Production at Kaduna Trade Fair

Stakeholders at the 47th Kaduna International Trade Fair received fresh details on Dangote Group’s long-term growth plan as the company outlined its Vision 2030 strategy.

Speaking during the company’s Special Day at the fair, the Group’s representative, Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, said the roadmap focuses on expanding local production and increasing value addition across sectors. She noted that the plan seeks to deepen Nigeria’s industrial base and reduce dependence on imports.

According to her, Vision 2030 aims to position the conglomerate as a global manufacturing leader. At the same time, she said the company will support national development through job creation, technology transfer and stronger supply chains.

She explained that investments in cement, fertiliser, petrochemicals, energy, sugar and salt remain central to that goal. These sectors, she added, will strengthen domestic capacity and improve competitiveness.

Wali Abdurrahman also stressed the importance of partnerships with small and medium-scale enterprises. She said inclusive participation across the value chain is necessary for sustainable industrial growth.

“At the Dangote Group, local content development is not a slogan; it is the foundation of our business philosophy. We believe Nigeria’s prosperity must be built by Nigerians, using Nigerian resources, for the benefit of Nigerian communities,” she said.
