Covid 19: Kano records additional confirmed case of Corona virus

Kano – Kano state Ministry of has confirmed an additional confirmed case Corona virus in the state on Tuesday.

The Ministry gave the confirmation on its Twitter handle @KNSMOH, shortly after debunking a fake news that went viral saying it had confirmed seven additional cases of the virus.

It was recalled that the index confirmed case of Corona virus was recorded in Kano on April 11th when an ex diplomat who just returned to the state tested positive to the virus.

The state further confimed two more cases of the virus on Monday, when an elderly woman aged 65 and her son, who returned from school in Turkey were tested positive.

The state as at 6:pm on Tuesday, has four confirmed cases of the Corona virus.

The state government through the Commissioner of health Dr Aminu Tsanyawa, said it had intensified efforts to combat the spread of the virus. (NAN)
