COVID -19: God now wants us to cover our mouths – Rep
The member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Yusuf Gagdi, has said God is saying something about the dreaded virus, COVID -19.
“There is something we are doing that God wants us to stop. We use to cover our private parts, but God is now saying we should cover our mouths,” he asserted.
Reo. Gagdi, who spoke to journalists in Jos, said for God to allow the whole world to stand still, “then there is something He wants us to learn.
“We should go spiritual and humble ourselves before our creator, ask for His mercies and forgiveness.”

Speaking on the efforts of government in containing the coronavirus scourge, the lawmaker said the federal government has failed the people in terms of prioritising health oriented projects.
“Nigerian leaders are guilty including myself. We have not been fair to Nigerians. Government has not invested well. The health sector has been under- funded.
“Government only reacts to issues when it seems to be ravaging us. When you say money should be invested in education and the health sector, some leaders will say no, but rather money should be budgeted to departments and agencies of government that have less security than education and health,” Rep.Gagdi said.
