Court reserves ruling on Daniel, Labour party case

An Ogun State high court sitting in Sagamu, Ogun State has reserved ruling on a case instituted by the former Ogun State governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and three Chieftains of Labour Party.

The presiding judge, Justice E.O Osinuga of Ogun State high Court 1, Sagamu on Friday said the matter is supposed to be for ruling but the third defendant wrote petition to the Chief Judge of the State for the transfer of the matter.

It could be recalled that the former governor of the State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has in a suit no HCS/152/2014 sued the former Ogun State Chairman of Labour Party, Comrade Bode Simeon, former, Secretary, Sunday Ogini and Comrade Arabambi Abayomi Olufemi over the control of Labour Party prior to the 2015 general elections.

At the last sitting, the third defendant, Abayomi Arabambi had requested for the re-assignment of the case.
