German Evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke has planned to win about 30 million souls for Christ in his forthcoming Farewell Gospel Crusade even as he promised that the last crusade will bring about spiritual healing for Nigeria as well as rescue the country from its spiritual pollution and socio-political corruption .

Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Lagos State chapter, Apostle Alexander Bamgbola said this during a press conference organized to announce the crusade where he diclosed that the renowned world evangelist is set to return to Nigeria for a five-day crusade and a three-day multi-purpose ministers’ fire conference.

According to him, the crusade targets to reach about 30million people across Africa out of which 10 million are expected to attend the crusade billed to start on November 8, 2017 at Sparklight Estate, opposite OPIC Plaza, Isheri Osun, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway .

“By the grace of God , Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke will hit the shores of Lagos for a five-day-farewell crusade that will unleash the power of God on Nigeria and liberate it from the very present demonic forces eating up its socio-economic and spiritual potentials”, he said.

He said Bonnke has made it clear that the choice to stage a come-back to Nigeria in the final lap of his large scale global evangelism outreach is God ordained and will therefore be explosive adding that Nigeria is a blessed country full of potentials.

As Lagos crusade would be the last of Bonnke’s international crusade, Bamgbola said the “Christ For All Nations anticipates conversion of many souls to Christ as Bonnke delivers his farewell message to crowd of worshippers in Nigeria.”

He added, “One of the highlights of the crusade will be a ‘passing the burning torch conference’ for leaders and church workers. Bonnke believes in God for many thousands of pastors and evangelists from around the globe to be inspired to evangelism.

The CAN chairman expressed optimism that the crusade would transform the church not only in Nigeria but across the African continent.

“All the churches are thrilled to join with Reinhard in this vision, and know that the results of this crusade will be farther reaching and of even greater consequence than we can even imagine.

“Ever since God gave Evangelist Bonnke a vision for a blood-washed Africa – a continent washed in the blood of Jesus Christ – over 40 years ago, he has been filled with a burning commitment to win the continent for Jesus,” he said.

Bonnke, a renowned German preacher has visited more than 200 countries to stage, what the faithful described as ‘life-transforming crusades”.

Although the Lagos outing will be the last of Bonnke’s international crusade, CFaN will continue to carry on with its global evangelism project.

Bonnke, 77, has helped over 75,913,155 people make salvation decisions over the last three decades and plans to pass on the torch to a younger generation of evangelists led by CfaN’s lead evangelist and Bonnke’s successor, Kolenda.
