Coronavirus cause of Gene Deitch death?
The Oscar-winning illustrator who made childhood interesting died April 16, 2020 unexpectedly in his Prague apartment aged 95.

The film director and producer was last seen in his apartment in the Litter Quarter neighbourhood.
According to a family friend and neighbor, the cause of death was not related to coronavirus. While Deitch hadn’t been sick, he had complained about intestinal problems in the days before his passing.
Fans have Since then been paying tribute to him on social media for the iconic ‘Tom and Jerry’ and Popeye Cartoons.
