Consider Hon Kevin for diplomatic appointment, APC chieftain urges Tinubu

Honourable Vrati Nzonzo, an All Progressives Congress (APC) topnotch in Adamawa State has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider Hon Kevin Peter for appointment as he is set to replace recalled envoys.
Recall that just last week, Tinubu
recalled all ambassadors, both career and non-career back home from foreign mission.
Vrati applauded the president’s decision to be a good omen in line his renewed hope agenda for the country.
He said that Hon Kevin Peter, the country’s former Ambassador to Czech Republic will be a good appointment for the President.
He said Kevin is a sound politician that worked well for the election of President Tinubu and is very much agile to contribute to the development of the nation.

Vrati described the diplomat as a staunch APC member with the wealth of diplomatic experience, garnered over the years while serving the country.
Recall that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, on Saturday in a statement signed by his Adviser on Media and Communications Strategy, Alkasim Abdulkadir confirmed that all Nigerian ambassadors have been recalled.
The statement confirming the recall of the ambassadors states: “Sequel to the inquiries on the letter recalling the Nigerian ambassador to the UK, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has clarified that all career ambassadors and non-career ambassadors have been recalled on the instructions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Ambassadors as representatives of the country serve at the behest of the President and it’s his prerogative to send or recall them from any country.”
The clarification became necessary over the recall of Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Sarafa Ishola.
