College Provost Charges New Students on Academic Records
Newly admitted students of the College of Health Technology, Akure, in Ondo State, have been charged to shun acts that are detrimental to their academic pursuit on the campus.
Provost of the College, Dr. Noah Akinola, gave the charge on Tuesday, at the 21st matriculation ceremony, held at the institutions campus in Akure, the state capital.
Dr. Akinola, who said 511 students from nine departments of the college were matriculated at the ceremony, noted that the new entrants have been found qualified for their respective courses of study.
He disclosed that the matriculation marks the formal enrolment of the new in-takes as members of the great institution had congratulated the students on their success.
“I share the joy of today with the Matriculants and congratulate them for being found worthy of admission after passing through a rigorous selection process.
“I charge you to be of good behaviour and make good use of this opportunity. Make good use of your time and shun acts that are detrimental to your academic pursuit.
