The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen will on Saturday administer the oath of office on Justice Abdul A. Kafarati as the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court.

A statement signed by the Director , Press and Information Supreme Court, Dr. Akande Festus and made available in Abuja on Thursday also disclosed that the ceremony will hold at the main Courtroom of the Supreme Court at about 10am.

Justice Kafarati succeeds Justice Ibrahim Auta who is retiring as Chief Judge of the Federal High Court on Friday after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 65 years.
