Chopz billions challenges as a self owned record label and artist

Chopz billions, whose real name is Uwagboe Gabriel is an origin of Edo, Benin city. The rap artist Has gained much attention since arriving on the music scenery late 2020. The rapper, song writer and self owned record label entrepreneur is an all round entertainer when it comes to music business in a sense.

The rap sensation recently sat down with the media in a segment where he shares his journey through the music industry and how he continues to navigate turbulent waters. It is not news regarding the level of competition that is constant in the music industry with lots and lots of emerging new talent. The music scale has never been this competitive and especially for a self owned record label artist.

When asked what inspired the movement to self own a record label despite been regarded as new in the music business. CHOPZ BILLIONS, the OMD RECORDS owner says, “having my own record label has not always been the plan, but you know how difficult it is to get recognised in this business and it just feels good amassing my own money”
