Chioma Chukwuka joins others for THISability campaign

As part of their contributions towards the growth of the nation and further empowerment to the otherwise known as less privileged in the society. Like minds that includes Nollywood screen diva, Chioma Chukwuka-Apotha, Ada Onwuka, Richard Njoku, Ehindonye Arinzechukwu and Utchay Odims has come together to lend their voices on the ill-treatment of what they tagged ‘ THISability’ people in the society through the world THISability campaign to actively support and encourage people in the societies living with various forms and levels of disabilities.

Speaking on the initiative, , Project Co-Convener Utchay Odims disclosed that one of the reason for the campaign is further serve as an avenue to create employment opportunities for some of the physically challenged youth, fight against societal ills that are predominately meted out to people living with disabilities in the society and country at large.

As part of the official flag-off of the campaign, selected THISability individuals received cash amount, food items courtesy of private donors.
Lending her voice also, actress Chioma Chukwuka however calls on both the state and federal government of the need to practice inclusive governance where no one is left aside irrespective of the physical appearance as opportunities are expected to be based on merit and not biased means.

However, organizers have hinted that come 2018, a lot of interesting beneficial programme awaits the special people that includes empowerment, entertainment and talent hunt amongst others.
