Movie hunk, Chidi Mokeme has kept the social media buzzing in the past few days after he opened up on his purported new found love for colleague, Chioma Akpotha. Though nobody saw this coming, but the actor has made it public that he has a very strong feeling for the mother of two and both of them are no longer ready to keep it secret.
He made this announcement through a video he posted on the social media recently, even as he pleaded that the general public should also respect their privacy. The actor said that he can’t help but love and adore Chioma and that he has no explanation for this.
According the statement, ‘’Hello friends and family, I have an important announcement to bring to you. I don’t think I can keep it a secret anymore. A pregnancy cannot be kept hidden for so long. So for some time now, Chioma and I have had something going and we have kept it away from you guys until we are ready to bring it to you.

We have found favor in each other’s eyes and as such we think that we have a lot in common and we have decided to share our time together and now we bring you the good news of a union that has been made from heaven. This good news of a calling by God, after all, can two work together except they agreed”.
Chioma got married to a business man, Mr. Franklin Akpotha in 2006, but in 2022; it was rumoured that they had parted ways.
On his part, actor Chidi Mokeme got married to Dr Jean Chinwendu Olumba in April 2012 in one of the most talked about marriages. His wife is a medical doctor based in the USA.
However, social media enthusiasts believe that this might just be a movie stunt as Mokeme is still legally married to his US based wife.
The Shanty Town movie super star recently disclosed that he has been battling an untreatable condition known as bell’s palsy. It’s a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. The flaw makes half of the face appear to hang.
