Chibok/Dapchi Kidnap: Ex Jonathan’s aid carpets Buhari over comments

Former Aide to President Goodluck Jonathan on Youth and Students Affairs, Comrade Jude Imagwe, yesterday said statement by President Muhammadu Buhari against the later over the abduction of Chibok girls in 2014 was most uncharitable and unpresidential.

Buhari had in a statement stated that his administration handled better kidnap of 110 Dapchi girls of Government Girls Science And Technology in Dapchi Yobe State.

He further added that while the administration of the former President Goodluck Jonathan looked the way his government responded swiftly compare to Jonathan in the abduction of Chibok girls in Borno State.

The former NANS President said at the time when all hands must be on deck to put an end to the wanton killings of Nigerians on a daily basis the president is busy comparing which administration handles better issues of security.

“In a any case it took the President almost 3 months to visit Benue State where hundreds of it citizens were massacred without security apprehending any one. More Nigerians have been killed in this government than any other administration in living memory.

“ What has the President done when police service commission complained that more than half of the police personnel are attached to powerful private individuals and politicians of his party while schools in troubles North East are left unprotected.

“Is not enough for the President to expressed shock in Makurdi when he told by the Benue State governor that his Inspector General of Police disobeyed his order to relocate to Benue. One would have expected that the IGP should have booted out.

“The lack of incompetence of this government in addressing pertinent National challenges has dragged the Country to the brink of collapse. A government that is stuck with bulk passing is a clear signs of failure.

“Buhari should realized that as the father of the Nation the bulks stop on his table rather than engage in bulk passing he should seat up to the responsibility of guaranteeing the life’s and property of all Nigerians.

“ The blame game has again clearly exposed the incompetence of the APC led administration. He added.
