Chelsea’s Romagnoli bid rejected

Chelsea have had a second bid for centre-back Alessio Romagnoli worth up to £34m rejected by AC Milan. After having an initial bid of £30m rejected, Chelsea went back to the Rossoneri with an offer of an initial £30m payment, plus up to a further £4m in incentives, but Milan’s directors have told sources in Italy the player is “unsellable”.
Spurs in talks over £15m Zaha
Tottenham are in talks with Crystal Palace over the transfer of winger Wilfried Zaha. Zaha has met with Palace manager Alan Pardew and told him he wants to leave. The player made his name at Palace, breaking into the first team from their academy in 2010, and a fee for him to move to White Hart Lane is likely to be in the region of £15m.
Zaza set to meet West Ham
Juventus striker Simone Zaza could be on his way to West Ham according to reports. Hammers boss Slaven Bilic confirmed on Wednesday that he is interested in signing the Italy international as well as Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.
Sunderland secure Manquillo
Sunderland have completed their move for Atletico Madrid full-back Javier Manquillo on an initial season-long deal. The agreement includes an option for the Premier League club to make the move a permanent four-year deal after the completion of the loan.
