Charly Boy quotes two Nigerian icons to advise govrnment on anti-corruption war

One of Nigeria’s most controversial entertainers, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charlyboy has drawn logic from two Nigerian literary icons as a warning to the federal government on the anti corruption war.
The controversial singer, songwriter and producer known for his alternative life style quoted late Nigerian writer, Chinua Achebe on how to make it hard for corruption to thrive in the country.
“Chinua Achebe, the famous Nigerian author, said Nigerians are corrupt not because they are “different fundamentally from any other people, in the world but because the system under which they live today makes corruption easy and profitable; they will cease to be corrupt when corruption is made difficult and inconvenient”,” Charly Boy tweeted.
He said: “Fela say na government magic. All the money una collect weytin una take am do? So many days for the thieves, one day for we the owners.”
The quote questions what has been done with all the money that has been retrieved so far.
Charlyboy crowned his advice by advising people at the helms of the government to check themselves and their associates.
