Charles Kieu opens up about his journey, motivation, and future plans

Entrepreneurship is a journey in which the world’s biggest innovators often find themselves juggling between verticals and concepts.

Talent manager, investor, designer, and self-proclaimed “hustler” Charles Kieu knows what it’s like to harness the potential of diversity.

Charles Kieu works out of Los Angeles and has collaborated with some of the industry’s most talented, up-and-coming artists.

“When it comes to music and performing, there is so much that goes into it,” states Charles Kieu. “It’s all about expression and creating a complete experience around that.” So, whether it’s managing the next big artist, putting on a riveting festival, or making a killing from e-commerce, Charles Kieu has his finger on the pulse.

Here, he shares what drives him and his plans for the future in an exclusive interview.
Q. Your career is incredibly diverse. How do you manage it all?

I believe in the power of hustle. Nothing can stop you from living your dreams as long as you work hard enough to go after them. At the end of the day, music, fashion, and events can’t survive without each other. It’s a lot to manage, but it makes sense. It’s about pulling the whole experience together.

Q. What drives your creativity?

Things are always changing and evolving. The fast-paced nature of the modern industry drives my creativity. As new artists come on the scene to push the boundaries, it instills the spirit of collaboration, so I’m never bored. It drives me to work harder every single day. I don’t want to just keep up. I want to be ahead of the curve.

Q. What do you credit your success to?

As an immigrant, I have had to work extremely hard for everything I have. I worked hard in school, and I believe that focus is everything. I hustled my way through it all, whether it was school, a startup, or a new project.

My success is a direct result of my motivation and determination. I never give up.

Q. What are your plans for the future?

I’m excited for my collaborations with Cookie N Kicks and Rolling Loud LA. No one can say what the future holds, but I’m optimistic for the future and would have no hesitation in expanding my resume.

I have come this far, and I have no plans of stopping. I’m always looking for the next big thing and how I can incorporate it into my empire.
