Cattle Rustlers Cart Away 100 Cows in Adamawa

Cattle rustlers have carted away about one hundred cattle from the farm of one Chief Kobis Ari Thimnu, immediate past Secretary tothe Adamawa State Government.

Facts emerged from Guyuk town in Guyuk Local Government Area that the rustlers killed of the herdsmen, while another was injured and later shackled.

Attempts are being made to arrest the rustlers.

According to an official of the local government informationdepartment, a report to that effect had been lodged with the police, who are investigating the matter.

When contacted on phone, Chief Kobis Ari Thimnu (Katuka Adamawa) saidhe was away, in Abuja, but confirmed the story.

Police spokesman, Mr. Abubakar Othman, confirmed the story, but said figures available to them was 36 cattle.
