Catholic Bishop refutes story of stolen regalia

A Catholic Bishop in charge of Adamawa Diocese, Bishop Dami Steven Mamza bitterky has lamented how some people concoct stories of hatred against others in an effort to sow seeds of discord.

According to Mamza, the ongoing viral story in the social media of dozens of Reverend Sister’s regalia belonging to one Catholic parish allegedly stolen in kano State is totally false, as nothing as such had ever happened.

”This story is totally falsehood and nothing like that ever happened in the history of Catholic in the country.” Mamza said.

Mamza told our reporter on phone that the general public should disregard the circulation of the purported story as it is just meant to fuel seed of discord and hatred among adherents of difference religion in the country.

Mamza who is also the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa state Chapter refuted that nothing like that has ever happened in the Catholic Church elsewhere in the country.
