Real Madrid supporters are annoyed at the price they are being asked to pay to watch El Clasico at Barcelona this weekend.
Los Blancos fans feel the established price of 111 Euros for a seat in the top row of the stadium, which has a poor view with the game having to be watched through a net, is excessive.
“I’m not sure what Neymar cost Barcelona but it looks like it is us that are paying for him,” commented one Madrid fan when asked.
The annoyance is even greater when taken into consideration the fact that Barca fans were charged 70 Euros for the game between the teams at the Santiago Bernabeu in October last year.
Despite the inflated match tickets, all 500 allocated seats have been sold as the Madrid fans are aware Sunday’s game could prove crucial in the race for La Liga.
In comparison, Manchester City fans will pay 99 Euros to see their team face the Catalans in their Champions League last 16 second-leg clash today.
