Bus conductor dies mysteriously in Umuahia
A young man in his late 30s, popularly known as Nwammuo was found dead yesterday morning, at Agricultural Development Programme (ADP), Ossah, Umuahia, Abia State.
As early as 6:00am, passersby and road users in Abia state, gathered in front of ADP where “Nwammuo” was found in a gutter already dead, with bruises and blood in his face.
Nwammuo who was a popular conductor in Umuahia, at Okigwe Park is a native of Umuderim in Isinweke, in Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State.
At about 8:15am that morning, members of Okigwe motor park came to carry the corpse of the deceased, but was not allowed by the soldiers living in ADP as they insisted that only the family members will be allowed to take the corpse.
After more than 1 hour, the family members of Nwammuo came with an ambulance car, after series of questions, they were allowed by the soldiers to carry the deceased body.
At the time of filing this report, the main cause of his death could not be ascertained.
