Buratai tourney debuts at Eagle golf club Abuja

A unique Pro-Am golf tourney in honor of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai would be teeing off this weekend at the newly developed Eagle Golf Club Asokoro, Abuja.

The tournament would equally signal the grand opening of the Club’s ultra modern Clubhouse to be performed by General Buratai who was instrumental to the formation of the full blown 18 hole golf course.

The Daily Times learnt that more than 100 professional golfers have signaled their intention to be part of the two-day event which will also attract over 250 amateur golfers from across Nigeria.

Meanwhile before the ceremonial tee off, the Pros will play on Thursday and Friday.

Sources close to the club executive disclosed that prize monies worth in excess of N5 million will be given to the pros in addition to consolation prizes for winners.
