The German Football League (DFL) on Wednesday has confirmed the date on for the first Bundesliga match since March, to take place on Friday, May 16.
Angela Merkel’s government gave permission for the top two tiers, which have been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, to resume behind closed doors in the second half of May.

The first match will be Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Paderborn on the Friday evening.
