Buhari’s legacy is assured – Lai Mohammed
President Muhammadu Buhari’s legacy will not be defined by insecurity in Nigeria, according to Information Minister Lai Mohammed.
On the mid-term anniversary of Buhari’s second term, he made the remark in a press conference on Tuesday.
Despite the fact that insecurity has received increased attention, Mohammed believes the situation will not overshadow Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s achievements.
“President Buhari’s legacy is assured, and will be defined by his massive achievements in office.”
Roads, railroads, bridges, mass housing, port development, power supply improvements, and other infrastructural development, he said, will last for decades and will accelerate economic growth and national development.
Never before in Nigerian history has a government done so much with so little, according to a government spokeswoman.
When Buhari took office in 2015, the price of crude oil decreased dramatically, according to the ministry.
“It is, therefore, monumental that this administration has achieved so much despite the paucity of fund”, he said.
