Buhari Will Return Nigeria's Lost Glory – Late Bola Ige's Son
Arc. Muyiwa Ige, Son of the late Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bola Ige has said the victory of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari will bring back the nation’s lost glory.
Ige, who is the immediate past State of Osun Commissioner For Lands, Physical planning and Urban Development said this in his congratulatory remark.
He noted that the All Progressive Congress (APC) President-elect and the Vice President-elect Prof. Yemi Osinbajo have what it takes to address the -breakdown of value system in the country.
He added that the polity and economy would also get major boost from the “sweet victory”.
“ The task ahead is enormous and I strongly believe that Gen Buhari disdain for corruption, sense of accountability, employment scheme, robust vision for the economic recovery and adequate security plan will definitely take Nigeria to the next level. He is well respected and acknowledged as a disciplined entity on the global front, so, failure is not an option” he said.
While applauding Nigerians for the peaceful conduct of the presidential election, the son of the late sage informed that the era of impunity and injustice shall be a thing of the past.
According to him, the historic election where a sitting President was defeated was an indication that the electorates can now choose their leaders even in the face of bribery and intimidation.
“The wind of change is upon us at the dawn of this new era in Nigeria. The positive change is here already as things seem to be falling in line days after the emergence of the APC candidate as President elect. I am proud to be a Nigerian,” he said.
