Buhari was too principled to a fault–Public Commentator

A public Commentator cum business mogul, Chief Ekene Okpara in Benin City, Edo State on Friday described former President Muhammadu Buhari as a man that was too principled to a fault, adding that his eight years tenure as Civilian President was orchestrated in Jamboree for his strong will decision to rule Nigeria with simplicity and unwavering decision making.
Chief Ekene Okpara who spoke to our Correspondent at his Office along Akpakpava road said that the late President Mohammadu Buhari would have been the best President Nigeria had ever had, stressing that his policies were shrouded in too many faults for lack of follow up decisions.
He said” I have however taken overview of the Character President Mohammadu Buhari was when he was alive and President of Nigeria, and my observations are that he was too principled to faults. President Mohammadu Buhari was too principled not to interfere in election results, for instance in Edo state during Mr Godwin Obaseki crisis with Adams Oshiomohle, many Nigerians thought he would have moved into it for the sake of his party, All Progressive Congress ( APC) to help the election of Obaseki rigged, instead he stood on free and fair election and Obaseki won Convincingly, Edo people voted emass for Obaseki”.

While eulogizing Former President Mohammadu Buhari on Education, and Commitment to free and fair election, Chief Ekene Okpara described the late President Mohammadu Buhari as a disciplined man whose legacies will continue to speak volumes, adding that the only pitfalls in his administration, was poor security network that were porous and unsatisfactorily put in place.
He said” Nigerians will continue to miss President Mohammadu Buhari for his forthrightness and Commitment to free and fair election in Nigeria..His legacies will continue to speak for his family and Nigeria as a Country”.
