President Muhammadu Buhari ordered the governor of Kaduna state to appoint dethroned Emir Muhammadu Sanusi as Chancellor of the Kaduna State University (KASU)
Bashir Ahmad President Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media speaking on Tuesday on his official Twitter handle lamented that President Buhari is not praised for HRH Muhammadu Sanusi’s recent appointments which he ordered his ‘godson’ Mallam Nasir el-Rufai to make.
Bashir Ahmad said: ‘By the way, I am yet to see anyone praising President Muhammadu Buhari for HRH Muhammadu Sanusi’s recent appointments, “he ordered his ‘godson’ Mallam Nasir el-Rufai to make the appointments”. All the newspapers are welcome to carry this information.
Recalled that Governor Nasiru El-Rufai appointed the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi into the board of the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA) on Monday.

And on Tuesday Muhammadu Sanusi was again named as the Chancellor of the Kaduna State University (KASU)
The appointment was announced a day after Sanusi was removed by the Kano State Government as Emir of Kano.
A statement issued on Tuesday in Kaduna by Muyiwa Adekeye, Special Adviser on Media and Communication to the governor, said Sanusi would serve as Vice Chairman of the board.
The board is chaired by the state Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe.
“Kaduna State hopes to benefit from the profile, experience, intellect and networks of His Highness, Muhammad Sanusi, who before becoming Emir, had built a solid reputation in global financial circles.
“Nasir El-Rufai said that Kaduna State is honoured to be able to call on the services of a man of such calibre to drive its development,’’ the statement added.
