Buhari Clinches Early Lead in Osun

Results released by officials of Independent National Electoral Commission in some local governments in Osun State show All Progressive Party is leading.

The local governments counted so far are in Osun ‎Central and East.

‎From the results, Peoples Democratic Party won in in Ife zone of the state; where ‎the Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, and the governorship candidate of the party in the last election in the state, Senator Iyiola Omisore, reside.

According to the results of the presidential poll released by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Sunday, Jonathan had marginal wins in Ife East and Ife Central Local Government Areas.

Also, APC Osun Central senatorial candidate, Prof. Sola Adeyeye defeated PDP by 137,379 votes to 82,529.
