BUHARI @75: President Buhari is a Blessing to Nigerians-Gov.Bindow
The Adamawa state Governor, Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow said President Muhammadu Buhari is an enigma and a great blessing to the people of Nigeria.
Bindow said this in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Press and Media Affairs, Martins Dickson to felicitate with Buhari in marking his 75th Birthday.
“Buhari is an answered prayer to the people of Adamawa state, the North-East and Nigeria as a whole,an enigma, a blessing and the best thing that has happened to the country recently.” He said
“The people of the North East and indeed Nigerians will never ever forget president Buhari for his doggedness in fighting the Boko haram insurgency and for the successes recorded, about 7 local Government areas were captured in Adamawa and several lives lost until president Buhari took the bull by the horn and stopped the carnage”. He added
Bindow reiterated that president Buhari has also restored the dignity of Nigeria and Nigerians in the eye of the international community and has set Nigeria on the path of greatness.
Adding that Nigerians can all attest to the fact that more people have turned to agriculture and the revenue generation mechanisms diversified under the Buhari led government. The fight against corruption is been sustained and sanity gradually been restored.
Senator Bindow prayed that the Almighty Allah will grant president Buhari good health, wisdom, and courage to sustain the tempo of reinventing a united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
“I have undertaken the construction of over 300 road projects in my state, purchased about 140 tractors and other farm implements including fertilizers, reconstruction of schools, reconstruction of hospitals by my government among many others are all efforts to compliment policies of the Buhari led federal government”.
According to Bindow, “The people of Adamawa state will continue to support president Buhari and to ensure that Nigeria attains greatness as he leads”
