There was intense uproar in Enugu State on Sunday when policemen had a clash with members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Daily Times gathered that two persons died in the clash. We also learnt that many members of the pro-Igbo group were also injured.
An eyewitness said over 10 IPOB members were arrested in the clash.
Sources said that efforts to reach the Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, were futile as of the time of filing this report.
Also, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Abdurraham, did not answer his calls.
