Breaking: Saudi Supreme Court confirms Friday Eid-el-Fitr day

Saudi Supreme Court has announced Friday, June 15, for the start of Eid el-Fitr, after sightings of the new moon, thus bringing fasting in the holy month of Ramadan to an end, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The day of Eid, falls on the first day of the Islamic calendar month of Shawwal.
