BREAKING: Sanwo-Olu Dissolves LASU Governing Council
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has authorized the immediate dissolution of the Lagos State University Governing Council, as well as the suspension of the Provost and Chairman of the Council.
Gbenga Omotoso, the Commissioner of Information, said Adebayo Ninalowo, the Pro-Chancellor, was suspended for flagrant violations of the University’s existing laws and regulations governing the appointment of a Vice-Chancellor in a statement on Friday.
The governor also ordered that the second failed exercise to name the institution’s 9th Substantive Vice-Chancellor be canceled and a new procedure be started.
