La liga giants, Real Madrid have confirmed that the club’s Spanish-Dominican striker, Mariano Diaz, is a COVID-19 patient.
The Spanish champions broke the news via Twitter this afternoon with a formal statement that assures that the 26-year old has already entered self-isolation.

“After the COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday on our first team footballers by the Real Madrid Medical Services, our player Mariano, tested positive.
The player is in perfect health and is complying with the protocol of isolation at home,” concluded the short report.
