BREAKING: Protesting legislative aides hold Speaker, Gbajabiamila
On Tuesday, congressional aides greeted members of the upper and lower legislative chambers with protests about unpaid allowances.
The aides had previously positioned themselves to block Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, whom they said had been feigning ignorance of their demands since 2019.

After successfully gaining the attention of the Speaker, demonstrators moved on to the Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan.
As of the time of this article, they have yet to be addressed.
