BREAKING NEWS: Explosion Hits Hotel In Somali
Though, it is still developing reports but according Aljazeera, a popular hotel in the capital of Somali,Mogadishu, has been attacked.
The African Union mission to Somalia, AMISOM, confirmed that there had been an explosion and gunfire at the Makka Al-Maukarama hotel today Friday.
Police told the media that government officials were trapped inside the hotel.
Officers have blamed it on the attack on al-Shabab group.
“Al-Shabab fighters are on the top of the building and inside the hotel,” Major Ismail Olow , a police officer, told reporters. “Some government officials are inside the hotel.”
