On Thursday morning, there was anxiety as operatives subjected lawmakers, their colleagues, and tourists to a rigorous stop-and-search at the National Assembly complex’s entrance gates.
Staff members of the NASS and journalists working in the complex were also required to show identification before being allowed entry.
