BREAKING: Gunmen Hijack School Bus In Ondo, Abduct Staff
A bus belonging to Chimola School in Oba Ile Estate of Akure North Local Government Area in Ondo state was seized by gunmen on Thursday morning.
The gunmen grabbed personnel who were on duty to transport pupils to school, according to SaharaReporters.
Around 7 a.m., the event occurred while the driver and the abducted personnel were on their way to pick up the students.
The gunmen, who were on motorbikes, rounded up the vehicle with the registration number —Lagos LSD 853 FJ, forcing the driver to come to a halt, according to a source.
The men yanked the driver out of the vehicle and threatened to kill him, according to him.
One of the hijackers eventually drove the bus away, while others fled the scene on bikes.
